​We currently have a fantastic opportunity for someone to enter the world of Offshore Wind as we support our client in finding them a Procurement & Supply Chain Analyst for their Melbourne office.

This person will support in the sourcing and supply chain cycle of their offshore wind project with a particular focus on the development phase, ensuring a robust supply chain to deliver the project requirements with the best commercial outcome.

Your role:

• Establish a deep understanding of the services, materials and equipment required for offshore wind projects

• Plan for and oversee all sourcing activities

• Work with the central function to tender for new products and services

• Work with the Supply Chain and Local stakeholders to manage and develop solid relations with the related suppliers across the supply chain.

• Drive the suppliers’ performance through effective KPIs

• Set out contractual documents that are fully compliant to support their business needs which are legally binding, mitigate any and all commercial risk

Your background:

• 3-5 years experience in a supply chain, procurement or contract management field

• Strong preference to someone who has worked within offshore industries or large scale infrastructure/engineering sectors

• Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management

• Analytical thinking and highly organised
