Our client is a global renewable energy company with a growing footprint in Latin America, delivering utility-scale solar, storage, and wind projects. The Colombia office acts as a regional hub, supporting local execution while aligning with global procurement and project standards.
The Role
Project Procurement Manager based in Colombia, with coverage of additional South America region as project needs require. The role owns end-to-end procurement outcomes for assigned renewable energy projects and acts as the interface between local projects and the global supply chain.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end procurement for renewable energy projects from pre-tender through contract execution and delivery.
Develop and execute project procurement strategies, including packaging, sourcing approach, and risk mitigation.
Manage RFQs, negotiations, contract awards, and supplier onboarding for equipment, subcontracting, and services.
Drive cost optimization and delivery performance, ensuring schedule adherence and supply continuity.
Identify and manage procurement risks across commercial, logistics, contractual, and regulatory areas.
Build and manage localized supplier networks in Colombia and other assigned Spanish-speaking markets.
Coordinate closely with project, engineering, legal, and HSE teams to support successful project delivery.
Experience & Background
5+ years of experience in project procurement or supply chain roles within renewable energy, infrastructure, or EPC environments.
Proven experience supporting or leading procurement for international or overseas projects.
Solid understanding of EPC procurement models, contract terms, and supplier management.
Experience working with local suppliers and subcontractors in Colombia or broader Spanish-speaking markets.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
Professional working proficiency in English; Spanish required.
