​TGRC are working with an established investment fund whose strategies are focused on opportunities within Renewable Energy and Infrastructure. With expansion into global markets in the pipeline, they are now looking for a Global Procurement Lead for Contracted Services to support the firms growth and attract new investment. This opportunity offers huge growth prospects and provides exposure to the full investor/sales process. The role is Hamburg/ Madrid based.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute quality, relevant market research

  • Support due diligence processes with project management

  • Keep up to date with, and share market news with relevant parties

  • Coordinate across marketing, compliance, and finance teams

  • Support in the preparation of material for investor conferences

  • Lead and drive tendering activities including qualification, evaluation, negotiation and preparing contract award decisions.

  • ·Manage comprehensive supply chain and cost intelligence on assigned category’s contractors, sub-contractors, equipment suppliers, competitors and customer models including, but not limited to, capacities, new product developments, costs and trends, market growth projections, and market forces

  • Develop the commercial elements of the package including contract terms and conditions, remuneration strategies and lead the commercial evaluations through recommendation and contract awards

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • University degree within Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management, an MSc or MBA is an advantage Chemical Engineering) or Procurement or Supply Chain Management

  • Experience in civil engineering project management background or a strategic sourcing background in contracted services (non-commodity, i.e., civil design, civil works, or installation) or Contract Management is required.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in global sourcing, sales, operations, procurement, or project management within the wind energy sector

  • Certification in Project Management or Procurement Management like CPM, CPSM, CSCP, CIPS are preferred

  • German/Spanish language is desirable. English language is necessary.
