Job Description:

As a Sustainability Project Advisor, you will play a key role in advancing their sustainability initiatives and ensuring that their projects meet the highest environmental standards. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from the initial planning stages to post-construction assessments. Your primary focus will be on land development and promoting sustainable practices within our real estate projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project development team to integrate sustainability principles into land development plans and strategies.

• Advise on the selection and implementation of sustainable design features, materials, and technologies.

• Conduct research and analysis on sustainable best practices in real estate development, including energy efficiency, waste management, water conservation, and renewable energy systems.

• Assist in obtaining necessary certifications and accreditations, such as Green Star, LEED, or other sustainability rating systems.

• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with sustainability goals and targets.

• Collaborate with external consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure sustainable design and construction practices are followed.

• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to verify adherence to sustainability standards.

• Prepare reports and presentations on project sustainability performance for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in land development, preferably within the real estate industry.

• Green Star Accredited Professional certification or equivalent sustainability accreditation.

• Strong knowledge of sustainable design principles, green building practices, and environmental regulations.

• Familiarity with sustainability rating systems such as Green Star or LEED.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools.
