My client, is a leading provider of sustainability consulting services to large consumer goods and agriculture clients. Our team of experts helps organizations to identify, quantify, and manage their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, while also helping them to develop sustainable business strategies and achieve their sustainability goals.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients to help them understand, measure, and manage their environmental impact, with a focus on greenhouse gas emissions including scope 1,2 and 3 whilst offering leadership to a team of junior consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2 and 3) and reporting protocols for our clients

• Conduct energy and emissions assessments and provide recommendations for reducing emissions

• Assist clients in the development and implementation of sustainable business strategies

• Collaborate with other teams in the company to deliver comprehensive sustainability solutions

• Stay up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory requirements related to GHG emissions and sustainability

• Prepare client reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field

• 3-5 years of experience in GHG accounting, sustainability consulting, or a related field

• Experience working with consumer goods and agriculture clients is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong project management skills

• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. GHG Protocol Scope 1, 2 and 3)
