Overview

The Green Recruitment Company are working with one of the largest Energy and Facilities Management companies in the UK to hire a new Senior Sustainability Analyst into their growing team. The role will be to support the Sustainable business model and drive both profitable and sustainable growth whilst championing and promoting innovation, customer engagement, social value and a wide range of initiatives across the breadth of the sustainability spectrum. Working closely with the Divisional Head of Sustainability, the successful candidate will come from a strong background in sustainable supply chains and sustainable procurement, with excellent communication and relationship building skills.

• Work closely with Environmental Manager and senior team to develop and deliver stakeholder engagement and sustainability plans based on values and strategies.

• Provide projects with guidance on sustainability related topics where required and in response to challenges of customer expectations.

• Support the Winning Work team on relevant bids and customer presentations, and educate bid writers to link sustainability to winning work.

• Provide support to projects on Legislation that may affect operations/offer new products along with guidance material.

• Technical support (sustainability, social value, energy, waste, etc.).

• Supplier support (both procuring and ensuring performance).

• Technical support for and during customer meetings.

• Relevant Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.

• Experience of supply chains, procurement and sustainability issues (environmental and social aspects).

• Knowledge of ISO20400.
