​Senior Land Acquisition Agent

This position is available to highly motivated individuals and will be primarily responsible for

negotiating and securing agreements to purchase land and other rights on behalf of the company.

This role will be focused on high impact opportunities.

Salary: $100k+ DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and manage relationships with high impact landowners and other counterparties.

  • Continuously network and develop channels to source new opportunities.

  • Use proprietary systems and resources to find new leads and projects

  • Meet with individual landowners or their representatives to articulate the benefits of thE company’s value proposition.

  • Negotiate contracts with landowners and/or landowner representatives that will culminate with the acquisition of real property rights as directed by the Company.

  • Assist in obtaining documents including, but not limited to, leases, easements, land purchase agreements title curative instruments and other items related to the transaction.

  • Maintain relationships with landowners throughout the life cycle of the transaction.

  • Maintain detailed records of activity in CRM system and provide weekly updates of activities.

Education & Experience:

  • Ability to initiate and build relationships with landowners and/or landowner representatives.

  • Confident and comfortable making cold calls and cold introductions.

  • Strong understanding of effective prospecting techniques for new opportunities

  • Expert-level knowledge of negotiation principles and a proven ability to close transactions.

  • Patience and willingness to educate others involved in potential transactions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office, and CRM software.

  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years of direct experience in business development, commercial real estate, mineral acquisition, or renewable land acquisition activities.

Ability to travel 50% or more of work time.
