​We are seeking a Senior Financial Modeller to join our growing renewable energy team in Madrid. You will play a key role in evaluating, structuring, and optimising renewable energy investments across solar, wind, and storage projects throughout Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and maintain project finance and corporate financial models for renewable energy assets (solar PV, wind, battery storage, etc.)

• Conduct valuation analysis, scenario modelling, and sensitivity testing to support investment decisions and financing structures

• Support M&A transactions, project bids, and financing negotiations with robust financial analysis and modelling

• Prepare investment papers, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders

• Collaborate closely with the project development, engineering, and finance teams to align technical and financial assumptions

• Monitor project performance and update models with actuals and revised forecasts

About You

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field

• 2–5 years’ experience in financial modelling within renewable energy, infrastructure, or investment banking

• Strong proficiency in Excel-based financial modelling (experience with VBA, Python, or Power BI is a plus)

• Solid understanding of project finance, debt/equity structures, and valuation methodologies

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is an advantage
