You will work on several live transactions simultaneously, learn rapidly, and will have a defined growth trajectory. Remuneration commensurate with experience and competitive with elite boutiques and bulge-bracket banks; significant financial upside based on performance, including equity interests in the Firm. The client base includes leading power developers, public and private corporations, asset managers, and institutional investors in the US, Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pac. Our client diligences all mandates from an investor’s perspective; merchant banking is a growing portion of their practice, creating long-term alignment with our clients, and greater upside.
The Role - Investment Banking Senior Analyst/Associate:
Most time will be spent working collaboratively as part of a deal team on investment banking transactions in the renewable energy and energy transition space, providing direct deal exposure immediately.
As a key member of live deal teams, you will support the creation of marketing materials and build financial models while gaining experience with client and investor interactions. You will also support new business development under the mentorship of their senior leadership. Through this experience, you will gain deep insight into the market and first-hand experience on how to diligence and win new business.
Our client wants entrepreneurial candidates comfortable in a dynamic environment. Beyond transaction work, a candidate will participate in building the business and strategy formation, including relevant research initiatives (such as industry mapping) matching your specific interests in climate finance.
Our client prefers for all members of the team (both junior and senior) to be partners in the business. You will be eligible for equity grants by the end of your first year of employment.
Base salary is comparable to market and bonuses are paid annually in cash based on a transparent performance-based methodology. In addition, once invited into our partnership, candidates will receive annual profit distributions.

Candidate Criteria:
Strong financial modelling capabilities required
1-3 years relevant work experience
Renewable energy investment or transactional experience required;
relevant backgrounds could include investment banking, principal investing, or the finance group of a developer / IPP
Entrepreneurial drive and preference to work in a boutique culture with significant client exposure
Demonstrated interest in the renewable energy industry and environmental finance
Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to progress through a career trajectory at a specialist boutique
Undergraduate degree
