Since 2018, they've been active in developing, acquiring and building out over 350 MW of community solar projects, representing one of the largest community solar portfolios in the country.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to support all functions of our client's investment team. This position is for someone inspired by the opportunity to gain experience in renewable energy transactions, financial modeling, investor management, and new investment origination, while working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

The Associate will assist the team in all aspects of working with our key partners, including capital providers (equity, tax equity, and debt), project development partners, and external asset management contractors. Responsibilities include: detailed financial modeling, due diligence support, transaction management, asset management, new investment analysis and proposal assembly, management and mentorship of analysts, and various other business management activities. Qualifications:
  • 3-6 years of renewable energy and/or finance experience (investment banking, project finance, or private equity is a plus)

  • Strong passion for and experience in renewable energy

  • Expert financial modeling and valuation capabilities

  • Demonstrated ability to manage deal processes

  • Experience with tax equity and project finance debt modeling and transactions

  • Working understanding of renewable energy project development and construction

  • Familiarity with due diligence management and counterparty coordination

  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability

  • Organized, diligent, and able to track and manage multiple streams of information on an ongoing basis

  • Commercial awareness and transaction composure

  • Ability to work accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, and seek out additional responsibility

  • Excellent verbal, written, PowerPoint, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Team player, sense of humor, and mission-driven mindset

  • An MBA or advanced degree is a plus, but not a requirement
