Job description

Position Summary:

Project Service Manager is responsible to assist Project Manager to manage the technical, contractual, and commercial aspects of the design engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities at the project site.

Assisting Project Manager to manage and control EPC execution of e-Methanol plant train 1/2 under the Project Manager’s instruction to ensure that e-Methanol project is being implemented properly and timely as intended.

Developing (if not available), maintaining, and improving the project management methodologies including project schedule, progress tracking and budge management tools for e-Methanol project in coordination with PM Office.

Developing (if not available), maintaining, and improving the work breakdown structure and the scope matrix in order to avoid any missing items from the overall scope in coordinating with PM Office.

Communicating closely with all the departments for gathering and sharing the necessary information for interface management.

Attending the daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc meetings at site or other locations related to e-Methanol project implementation and conducting the necessary actions to execute the tasks.

Preparing the regular progress reports for the stakeholders and causing contractors to submit the daily and monthly report.

Qualifications:

Applicant should have a good understanding of industrial plan construction techniques, engineering design fundamentals and specific knowledge of industrial plant construction. A working understanding of scheduling techniques & cost accounting is also required. A minimum of 5 years working as a project scheduling engineer on industrial plant construction projects.

The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Good problem solving and analytical ability.

Good organizational skills and attention to details.

A Bachelor of Science degree in ME, EE, CE or Construction Management is preferred.
