​TGRC is seeking a highly motivated Project Design Specialist to contribute to our innovative and sustainable initiatives. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the design and development of projects within the renewable space, supporting our mission to advance clean energy solutions.

Company Overview:

TGRC has partnered with a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Italy with a strong reputation for developing, financing, constructing, and managing projects within the renewable energy sector.

The client is searching for a candidate with a background in engineering (+- 3 years) with companies that operate within the energy generation field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preliminary plant design for development activities.

  • In addition, revamping of obsolete or under-performing plants.

  • Supervision of the portfolios of renewable energy plants on different technologies.

  • System technical design and component sizing.

  • Interface with the competent authorities for PV plants (GSE, grid operator, local authorities, etc.).

  • Additionally, verification of specialized analyses and assessments.

  • Furthermore, independent execution of technical due diligence.

  • Stay informed about local and international regulations of renewable energy project design.

  • Ensure that project designs adhere to all necessary legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Management of contracts with maintenance operators and suppliers.

  • Utilize your expertise to contribute innovative design solutions that enhance project efficiency and sustainability.

  • Lastly, Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and design renewable energy projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in engineering (preferably electrical, energy or mechanical) alternatively, a degree in Environmental Science if supported by solid field experience.

  • +3 years of experience in the renewable energy sector (Solar in particular).

  • Experience with AutoCAD (PVSYST and PVCase is a plus).

  • Experience in plant management and construction site activities.

  • Fluent in English

  • Lastly, Knowledge of regulatory requirements for renewable energy projects in Italy.
