Permitting Specialist

​I am recruiting on behalf of a leading independent power producer operating across the full renewable-energy value chain, including generation, storage, and development. The company is focused on delivering sustainable solutions and accelerating the clean-energy transition through impactful projects.

They are seeking a Permitting Specialist to join their Development Function team, reporting to the Senior Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and analyze technical and administrative authorization documentation for renewable energy projects.

  • Prepare and execute activity plans for secondary permitting, ensuring compliance with environmental conditions.

  • Draft reports and documentation required for approvals, concessions, and definitive authorizations.

  • Review and verify documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with relevant authorities.

  • Monitor permits, track documentation for grid operator submissions, and manage infrastructure interferences.

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and prepare reports for external parties.

  • Support the preparation of Compliance Reports with Project Managers and Designers (excluding technical design).

  • Maintain communication with authorities to ensure timely submission of required documentation.

  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in all activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Experience (even minimal) in renewable energy project development and related permitting activities.

  • Familiarity with design standards, safety regulations, and renewable energy project requirements.

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred but not mandatory).

  • Excellent English communication skills.

  • Proficiency with design/drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD) and basic office tools.

  • Proactive, resourceful, and problem-solving mindset.
