Job description

​The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be partnered with a leading waste-to-energy & energy engineering business, supporting their business expansion.

As part of this recent campaign, our Client are seeking an O&M Technician to oversee and deliver the mechanical or electrical maintenance requirements across their Anaerobic Digestion Plant.

  • Strictly follow documented Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe systems of work and to ensure work is completed to the highest standard. Updating appropriate documentation as required.

  • Ensure relevant PAS110 tasks carried out (where applicable) .

  • Implementing a quick response time to reactive and emergency maintenance tasks to maintain a safe operation, maximise plant uptime and protect Company assets. Identify and maintain all necessary tools and equipment to carry out duties in most efficient manner, including identifying required critical spares for the AD Plant.

  • Identify training requirements in conjunction with Maintenance Team Leader and complete required training.

  • Work as part of a team with a strong team ethic, sharing knowledge and best practices openly. Feel ownership for the overall site performance.

Requirements;

  • Experience working on an waste-to-energy site previously.

  • Engineering qualification (HNC or NVQ Level 3 or above

  • Must have previous experience in a similar role – ideally 2+ years. Maintenance experience and experience of and desire to. carry out required operational tasks on a plant

  • -Experience of working with PLC’s and SCADA systems and fault finding.
