This role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from early-stage development through to operational asset acquisition and portfolio optimisation.

2. Financial Modelling & Valuation

  • Develop, update, and review detailed project and corporate financial models (DCF, IRR, NPV, sensitivity analysis).

  • Conduct scenario and risk analysis to support investment decision-making.

  • Assist in preparing investment committee papers, presentations, and recommendations.

3. Due Diligence & Transaction Execution

  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary due diligence processes across technical, legal, financial, and environmental workstreams.

  • Liaise with external advisors (law firms, technical consultants, tax advisors) to ensure smooth transaction delivery.

  • Support negotiation of transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, joint development agreements, and financing arrangements.

4. Portfolio Management

  • Assist in monitoring financial and operational performance of portfolio assets post-acquisition.

  • Analyse asset-level performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimisation.

  • Prepare reports and updates for senior management, lenders, and investors.

5. Strategic & Organisational Contribution

  • Contribute to corporate strategy initiatives, including market entry assessments and portfolio growth plans.

  • Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics within the renewable energy sector.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums as required.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; CFA or Master’s preferred.

  • 3–5 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate M&A, or project finance, ideally with exposure to energy or infrastructure sectors.

  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with the ability to build complex models from scratch.

  • Solid understanding of renewable energy technologies, market drivers, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Experience coordinating due diligence and managing multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to senior decision-makers.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
