Our client is a well-established renewable energy owner/operator with a robust portfolio of solar and wind assets across China and abroad. The company is committed to building and operating clean energy projects that meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and sustainability.

To support its growing operational needs, the company is seeking an experienced O&M Manager to join its Beijing-based team and play a central role in ensuring the optimal performance of its renewable energy assets.

Role Overview

The O&M Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of renewable energy plants, focusing on safe and efficient plant operation, equipment reliability, and compliance. This position requires hands-on experience managing plant systems, electrical components, and field-based maintenance activities.

The successful candidate will bring a solid background in electrical engineering, plant equipment management, and renewable energy O&M best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of utility-scale renewable energy assets, including solar PV and wind power plants

• Monitor plant performance and implement corrective actions to address underperformance or equipment faults

• Conduct regular inspections of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure reliability and safety

• Manage planned and unplanned maintenance activities, including coordination with third-party service providers

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety regulations and internal operational standards

• Maintain and update detailed maintenance logs, inspection reports, and performance data

• Support the installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of plant equipment and instrumentation

• Provide training and technical support to on-site teams and junior engineers

• Collaborate with engineering and asset management teams to identify areas for operational improvement

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in renewable energy O&M, ideally in utility-scale solar and/or wind power

• Solid understanding of plant and equipment operations, including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and SCADA systems

• Electrical engineering background preferred (degree or equivalent qualification)

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to lead site-level technical troubleshooting

• Familiarity with Chinese regulatory and safety standards for energy infrastructure

• Detail-oriented with good documentation and reporting skills

• Fluent in Mandarin; English proficiency is an advantage

• Based in Beijing or willing to relocate
