Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Advisor to play a pivotal role in our offshore wind projects. This role, based in the scenic locale of Normandy, France, will involve ensuring that all aspects of health and safety protocols are adhered to, and environmental impacts are meticulously considered and minimized throughout our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with governmental and internal HSE regulations.
Risk Management: Identify, assess and manage risks to prevent incidents and accidents on-site.
Training: Develop and conduct HSE training sessions for site personnel.
Emergency Response: Establish and coordinate emergency response procedures.
Environmental Management: Ensure projects align with environmental policies and sustainability targets.
Reporting: Provide comprehensive reports on incidents, near misses and corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement: Advocate for, and implement, continuous HSE performance improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field.
Proven experience as an HSE Advisor, preferably in the renewable energy sector, and more specifically, offshore wind projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations and guidelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of French would be advantageous.
