Electrical Superintendent

​

Responsibilities

• Direct experience with substation construction and electrical activities

• Coordinate with the Project Manager in planning and executing work, and maintaining the construction schedule

• Coordinate QA/QC testing and documentation, and support the Owner’s QA/QC procedures

• Responsible for enforcing job site safety with personnel and subcontractors

• Work with Safety Director and Project Manager to create and implement the project safety plan

• Conduct weekly safety meetings and other specific safety meetings as required

• Must be able to supervise 1 to 7 subordinates including foremen and field engineers

• In-depth knowledge of safety requirements; OSHA 30 hour training course

• Consistent quality of self-perform work product delivered by the crews

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background in construction activities

• Well Versed in substation construction and electrical activities associated with the construction of Wind Farms

• Electrical License in the state of Maine is a plus

• Direct experience supervising and scheduling self-perform and subcontracted labor forces

• Ability to develop basic construction schedules

• In-depth knowledge of safety requirements; OSHA 30 hour training course

• Capable of managing projects between $2M - $30M
