​We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Jacksonville, Florida. As a leading manufacturer of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), we design and deliver advanced energy storage solutions that support renewable energy integration and grid stability. This role will focus on the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of electrical systems and components within our energy storage products. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with project management capabilities and a passion for renewable energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

• Design and develop electrical system components, including circuit boards, wiring systems, and power distribution systems

• Develop and improve electrical architectures for renewable energy and energy storage applications

• Create detailed schematics, system layouts, and technical documentation using CAD and EPLAN

• Develop manufacturing processes in accordance with global engineering codes and standards

Testing & Evaluation

• Test and evaluate electrical systems to ensure compliance with performance specifications and operational requirements

• Conduct system validation, verification testing, and performance analysis

• Monitor maintenance and inspection plans to ensure long-term system reliability

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to electrical safety and system performance

• Document design specifications, procedures, and test results for traceability and future reference

• Conduct research on emerging electrical technologies and recommend enhancements to existing systems

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability

Troubleshooting & Support

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement necessary repairs or system modifications

• Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning phases

Project Management & Collaboration

• Manage engineering projects and ensure on-time delivery of milestones

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and project management teams to define requirements and develop solutions

• Prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Experience

• Proven experience in designing and testing electrical systems

• Experience working with renewable energy systems or power systems preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices

• Advanced mathematical and analytical skills

• Proficient in CAD, EPLAN, MATLAB (MetLAB), and electrical engineering simulation tools

• Familiarity with global industry standards and regulations for electrical safety and performance

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams)
