​National leading independent power company seeks a seasoned Electrical Engineering Project Manager to manage the engineering activities necessary to design, construct, commission, start-up, and test new energy storage systems, PV solar generation assets, and combined cycle powerplants.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee engineering and technical activities on one or multiple projects.

• Serve as technical lead on projects to include the coordination of professionals, technicians, and others outside of own department.

• Provide recommendations on moderately complex issues regarding project components and tasks.Elecrical

• Offer recommendations and collaborate with senior professionals in the selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approaches as well as new processes, tools, and services

• Troubleshoot problems of diverse scope ranging from moderate to complex.

• Build professional networks; identify and connect resources to achieve goals.

• Contribute actionable ideas in brainstorming and planning sessions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

• 5+ years’ electrical engineering design experience, including MV and HV system design, protection and control system design, specifying MV and HV equipment, supporting plant operations, and troubleshooting equipment.

• Direct field experience including supporting or leading construction, commissioning, and startup activities preferred.

• Experience supervising subordinate engineers and/or oversite of engineering consultants, interfacing with electric utilities, and Independent System Operators (ISOs).

• Knowledge and experience with electrical system analysis software such as ETAP, and project management tools preferred.

• Professional engineering license preferred.
