Job description

The Role:

  1. Asset Management Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy for our solar PV and onshore wind projects, aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

  2. Portfolio Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance optimization and cost reduction within the portfolio, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and profitability.

  3. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluations of assets, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

  4. Contract Management: Oversee all contracts and agreements related to the portfolio, including power purchase agreements, operations and maintenance contracts, and land lease agreements.

  5. Compliance and Regulatory: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure compliance across the portfolio, managing any risks and mitigating potential issues.

  6. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.

  7. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of asset management professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

  8. Due Diligence: Support due diligence activities for potential project acquisitions, providing expertise on technical, financial, and operational aspects.

The Person:

  1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy) is required. A master's degree or MBA is preferred. Proven experience (8+ years) in asset management, preferably in the solar PV and onshore wind sectors.

  2. Renewable Energy Expertise: Strong knowledge of solar PV and onshore wind technologies, including their development, construction, and operational phases. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices.

  3. Financial Acumen: Solid financial and analytical skills, including budgeting, financial modeling, and performance analysis. Ability to effectively evaluate investment opportunities and optimize asset performance.

  4. Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership
