Construction Manager (Site Manager)
Job description
We are actively searching for a top-tier technical professional to lead a high-profile hydropower refurbishment project at Gilboa, Israel. This is a hands-on role where your expertise in turbines and generators will make a direct impact.
The Opportunity
Our client is undertaking the dismantling and reassembly of two pump storage units, with a one-month gap between the two machines. They need a strong, field-oriented Site Manager/Construction Manager to take charge of all on-site operations, including EHS, quality control, local logistics, purchases, and technical client meetings.
Experience with international projects is highly valued, as the role involves working with diverse teams and navigating cross-border project challenges.
Start Date: 16/02/2026
Duration: 7 months
Location: Israel (Accommodation & local car provided, <10 km from site)
Working Time: 6 days/week, 54 hours/week
Rotation: 12 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Salary: €77 meal allowance/calendar day, €550 daily rate
Visa: 1-year visa will be provided
Languages: English mandatory, Hebrew optional
Who We’re Hunting For
Mechanical degree with >10 years of hydropower experience, including international projects
Proven expertise in turbine supervision and turbine + generator coordination
Hands-on, field-oriented profile (not a project manager)
Strong leadership in EHS, quality, client management, and site operations
Confident running daily and weekly technical meetings with demanding clients
