​Construction Manager

My client are a leading, global consultancy who are growing rapidly, with a focus on offshore wind. They are currently looking for a Construction Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of highly skilled technical experts. The ideal candidate will have experience in full project life cycle Offshore Wind Construction Projects.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Drive safe working in the Execution team and the management and control of all construction activities related to the outfitting of the substation, so that the required tasks can be executed in accordance with the specifications, the regulations and the budget.

• Set up a plan of action and a detailed construction planning which will be implemented in the overall project planning

• Support the Engineering department by providing technical information with regards to efficient construction methods such as material use and the installation of large equipment onto the substation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor´s or Master´s degree combined with 5+ years of professional experience from a similar position in a matrix organization within renewable / offshore wind project execution

• A project manager certificate (e.g. PMI, IPMA or Prince2)

• Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written

• Ability to travel to meet the project- or client needs
