​Title: Commercial/Investment Associate

Location: London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

The Green Recruitment Company have partnered with a leading Renewable Energy business. They are looking for a Commercial/Investment Associate to join their team in London.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assisting on the start-up/takeover phase of operations, sharing project-specific knowledge with the finance team, and collaborating with external advisors to develop an operational model.

• Reviewing and quality controlling lenders' quarterly reporting packs on financial and operating performance before submission.

• Supporting the annual budget process from a commercial perspective.

• Conducting analysis to provide recommendations for optimizing the company's existing portfolio.

• Collaborating on new project bids, including preparing bid documentation, financial modelling, financial structuring, negotiations, due diligence, and risk management.

Role Requirements:

• Strong communication skills in sharing knowledge with colleagues/stakeholders adapting style to suit audience; and

• Financial modelling skills able to operate and interpret complex financial models;

• Previous exposure to project finance/PPP/PFI/infrastructure/renewable energy projects achieving financial close is desirable.
