The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to be working with a public sector energy procurement and energy management business, focused on delivering their customer's net zero carbon targets.
The business is seeking a Key Account Manager to generate new business for their energy & carbon reduction services across the Education sector, growing customer portfolio.
Develop a network within the Education sector, from Schools to Multi-Site Academy Trusts (MATs), self-generating and qualifying leads from existing and new contact lists.
Develop relationships with key decision makers and customer representative groups.
Arrange meetings with prospective customers to discuss the business' proposition, virtual or face-to-face, as required.
Manage on-going customer relationships during the sales process to maximise probability of success.
Ensure a successful handover to internal teams for onboarding purposes and ongoing service delivery.
Work with the Marketing Team to develop and actively participate in targeted sales campaigns to generate sales pipeline.
Maintain a relationship with the customers throughout the contract and maximise customer retention at each contract renewal.
Proven track record of delivering against sales targets
Experience and knowledge of the Energy industry
Experience selling energy efficiency and carbon reduction services
Experience working with the Education sector
Experience of building and delivering a pipeline of sales opportunities
Experience of working with senior decision makers to secure sales
