Wind Energy Analyst – Pre Construction

The Role

My client is the leading global independent wind energy advisory company, who are seeking an experienced ‘Pre-Construction Wind Energy Analyst’.

In this role, the suitable candidate will join a global team of 30 specialists, closely collaborating with the due-diligence and project execution teams, on leading offshore wind energy projects.

My client deliver a financial grade of pre-construction yield assessment; to ensure that their clients (developers, IPPs, banks & funds) maximised their project value, to develop and operate better renewable energy projects.

Job Responsibilities

As a senior member of the Wind Energy Analysis team, you will encompass a wide variety of tasks including undertaking and supporting on a range of commercial projects, client management and business development across key and emerging markets.

My client is a marker leader within the field of Research & Development within renewables analytics - developing new methods, policies and software to improve our analyses, and presenting our research findings at conferences. An evolving science where they are striving to do things better.

The Candidate

  • 5+ years in pre-construction yield analysis

  • Advanced computer skills, including data and analysis

  • Enthusiasm to support the development of junior staff

  • Confidence in providing technical advisory to a range of technical and non-technical clients including banks and financial houses

  • Experience of wind farm analysis and documentation review to support technical due diligence

  • Experience computer software, e.g. Python

  • Language skills would be a bonus
