We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Waste Water Engineer to join a Chinese Energy Utility in Karachi, Pakistan. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of environmentally responsible solutions for the energy industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage wastewater treatment systems for power generation plants and related facilities.

• Conduct water quality assessments, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement in wastewater management.

• Develop strategies and best practices for the efficient and effective treatment of wastewater, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable water management practices into energy projects and operations.

• Monitor and optimize the performance of wastewater treatment processes, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions.

• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in wastewater treatment and water reuse to enhance operational efficiency and environmental sustainability.

• Conduct risk assessments related to wastewater management and develop mitigation plans.

• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in wastewater treatment and management, preferably in the energy sector.

• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.

• Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and relevant local and international standards.

• Proficiency in water quality analysis and modeling software (e.g., GPS-X, BioWin, QUAL2K).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to implement innovative solutions for wastewater management.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
