​Our client, a growing independent power producer, is seeking a Development Manager to lead utility-scale renewable energy and BESS projects across the U.S. This role will oversee project development from early stage through financing and construction, coordinating all technical, environmental, permitting, and interconnection workstreams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development of utility-scale renewable and BESS projects

• Manage permitting, environmental studies, land agreements, and interconnection

• Coordinate with landowners, utilities, regulators, and internal teams

• Oversee project budgets, schedules, risk management, and key deliverables

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in utility-scale renewable energy or BESS development

• Background working with project finance

• Strong knowledge of permitting, environmental processes, interconnection, and land management

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, or related field
