Job description
Main responsibility is supporting generator interconnection and transmission planning-related activities.
Responsibilities:
Manage the generation interconnection process of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, including pre-application feasibility analysis, interconnection application submission, interconnection study and agreement process, and construction milestone management.
Review and verify interconnection study results.
Coordinate with Land Acquisition, Engineering, Permitting, EPC, and Operations teams to develop a strong pipeline of solar and energy storage projects.
Provide technical support for project acquisition activities.
Participate in RTO/ISO Generation Interconnection and other stakeholder forums and inform executive management of industry changes and trends.
Manage consultant and other service provider activities. Manage interconnection project accounts.
Qualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering
Experience with power flow studies
Working knowledge of TARA preferred
Familiar with RTO/ISO interconnection process and tariff requirements
Must have PJM experience
Travel up to 25%
