Site Manager - Grid Transmission & Distribution, Renewable Energy Projects

Location: Cambridgeshire, UK

Day Rate: £400

Contract Duration: 12 Months

The Green Recruitment Company is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager specializing in Grid Transmission & Distribution within the renewable energy sector. We are seeking a proactive and committed professional to lead operations on our innovative renewable energy projects throughout Cambridgeshire.

About the Role:

In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily site activities, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and achieve all operational milestones. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise site operations, ensuring all activities comply with project specifications and timelines.

  • Uphold strict health and safety standards, promoting a culture of safety among all team members.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and site staff to ensure clear communication and effective execution of tasks.

  • Track and report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Foster relationships with key project stakeholders, including suppliers and community representatives.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager in the renewable energy sector, with specific expertise in Grid Transmission & Distribution.

  • Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing diverse teams.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.

  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as SMSTS or NEBOSH, are highly desirable.
