As a leading provider in the construction and maintenance of high-voltage energy systems in Germany and beyond, the company specialises in the full lifecycle of overhead line projects. Their expertise spans planning and construction, technical engineering, and the development and distribution of GIS platforms, specialist tools and innovative assembly techniques for overhead line installation.
The Role
Based in Hanover, you will manage large-scale overhead transmission line projects from planning through to execution, ensuring that all technical, budget, quality and schedule targets are met.
Working with internal experts, engineers, site managers and clients, you will be a key figure in delivering critical infrastructure that supports national and international energy security and development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage overhead line construction projects from initiation to successful completion
Oversee project planning, engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, subcontractors and specialist teams
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental standards and compliance requirements
Monitor budgets, timelines and progress, reporting regularly to senior leadership
Drive continuous improvement and technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle
About You
Proven experience managing major transmission or distribution infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of overhead line construction technologies, engineering and safety requirements
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage budgets, schedules and complex operational environments
Fluent German skills required; English advantageous
