​I am currently supporting a leading turn-key EPC company that has achieved strong success across Europe and the Middle East and is now expanding its operations into Germany. As part of this exciting growth phase, the company is seeking to appoint a Director of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) to establish and lead its new business unit within the German market.

The Role:

As Director of T&D, you will be responsible for building and driving the company’s power transmission and distribution operations across Germany. This is a senior leadership position with full accountability for strategy, delivery, and team development, as well as close collaboration with clients and partners across utilities, grid operators, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute the strategic plan for the T&D Business Unit in Germany.

  • Oversee the delivery of EPC projects in HV/MV substations, overhead lines, and underground cabling systems.

  • Build and lead a high-performing technical and project delivery team.

  • Develop strong relationships with utilities, transmission operators, and industrial clients.

  • Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

  • Collaborate with group leadership to align German operations with broader international objectives.

About You:
  • Extensive leadership experience within Transmission & Distribution or Power Infrastructure EPC projects.

  • Strong understanding of the German electricity market, grid regulations, and permitting requirements.

  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale T&D projects (HV/MV substations, lines, cabling).

  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen.

  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on leader capable of building a business from the ground up.

  • C2 German & C1 English minimum
