Job Title: Technical Project Coordinator - Energy Services

Location: Cambridge 3 days/week & 2 days home-based (optional)

TGRC are delighted to be partnered with a leading figure in the European energy and utilities industry, offering energy services, compliance and reporting and EV charging solutions to businesses and end customers. Now seeking operational growth, our client is on the lookout for an experienced Technical Project Coordinator with a strong market understanding to take ownership of Commercial and Industrial Energy Services projects across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify technical requirements of clients regarding energy metering and data collection

  • Provide technical guidance on the adoption of technical solutions tailored to the client's existing energy metering and data collection infrastructure

  • Work with internal and international stakeholders to identify optimal solutions for energy metering and data collection requirements

  • Support the Project Manager in the successful implementation of energy metering and data collection projects

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams, including engineers, project managers, and regulatory experts enabling effective project execution

  • Additionally, prepare and deliver technical reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders

  • Define and document energy metering and data collection strategy based on the project requirements

  • Daily monitoring of energy data collection processes and providing reporting and early warning to stakeholders in case of issues

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (e.g., Energy Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability) - desirable

  • In addition, experience in energy monitoring systems/solutions

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to assess client needs, and provide a tailored suggested solution.

  • Proficiency in energy analysis software and data visualization tools -desirable

  • Moreover, knowledge of European energy metering regulations and standards would be an advantage

  • Additionally, an understanding of IoT solutions for energy metering and data collection

  • Technical understanding of energy metering and data collection systems, i.e. mbus/Modbus/etc.

  • Furthermore, excellent communication, problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively and in a structured way in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • High level of initiative as well as an independent and structured way of working with a constant focus on results and added value
