We are currently representing a leading Sustainability & Net Zero Consultancy in their search for a highly skilled Sustainability Project Advisor. This consultancy is dedicated to helping organizations achieve their sustainability goals and transition towards a net-zero future.

As the Sustainability Project Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients in their journey towards sustainability and net-zero targets. Based in Perth, you will work closely with organizations across various sectors, managing and delivering sustainability projects, and supporting the implementation of effective strategies. Your extensive knowledge of sustainability, project management skills, and passion for driving positive change will contribute to the success of the consultancy's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their sustainability objectives and develop tailored strategies and action plans to achieve net-zero targets.

  • Lead and manage sustainability projects, including project planning, resource allocation, progress tracking, and reporting.

  • Conduct comprehensive sustainability assessments to identify areas for improvement, reduce environmental impacts, and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Develop and implement sustainability frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and performance tracking systems to monitor progress towards sustainability goals.

  • Provide expert guidance on carbon reduction strategies, energy efficiency, waste management, circular economy practices, and sustainable supply chain management.

  • Support clients in navigating sustainability certifications, standards, and reporting frameworks.

  • Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and policy changes in sustainability and net-zero initiatives.

  • Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions to clients, fostering awareness and engagement in sustainability initiatives.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to promote sustainability practices and drive positive change.

  • Contribute to the consultancy's thought leadership initiatives by conducting research, writing reports, and participating in industry events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in sustainability consulting or related roles, with a focus on managing and delivering sustainability projects.

  • Strong understanding of sustainability concepts, including carbon emissions, energy management, waste reduction, and circular economy principles.

  • Experience in conducting sustainability assessments, developing action plans, and implementing sustainability strategies.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects within time and budget constraints.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Familiarity with sustainability certifications and reporting frameworks such as GRI, CDP, or ISO 14001.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and industry trends related to sustainability and net-zero initiatives.

  • Passion for sustainability, climate action, and driving positive change towards a more sustainable future.
