​The Opportunity

The Green Recruitment Company are working with an award-winning Sustainability consultancy for the Built Environment, featured in the Top 50 Employers in Building Magazine’s annual survey for four of the last five years. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Consultant and BREEAM Assessor to join the client’s growing Energy and Sustainability team, providing expert advice to cross-sector clients on their long-term sustainability strategy.

 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on how to reduce the environmental impact of buildings

  • Providing BREEAM, HQM and other rating systems advice and assessment to clients

  • Advising on building-integrated renewable energy

  • Developing sustainability strategies for buildings and developments

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level in any Sustainability/ Energy/Environmental Science/Engineering, Climate Change, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline

  • Previous experience of experience working on BREEAM assessments

  • BREEAM Licensed OR working towards qualification

  • BREEAM AP licensed (beneficial)

  • Knowledge and experience of any of the following schemes is beneficial; Home Quality Mark, Code for Sustainable Homes, LEED, WELL, Fitwel, CEEQUAL and DREAM

  • Experience of working on Life Cycle Assessments

  • Leading/ project managing delivery of energy and sustainability services on projects

  • Team player capable of working in a multi-discipline team

  • Excellent at planning your own workload and dealing with competing deadlines

  • Good communication skills- verbal and written

  • A passion for sustainability
