Job description
Our client is a fast-growing provider of residential solar and energy storage solutions, offering integrated high-efficiency panels, hybrid inverters, and intelligent battery systems. Backed by a global renewable energy group, they combine advanced technology with a localised approach to deliver reliable, future-ready energy solutions for homeowners. The company is expanding its footprint in Thailand and is building a dedicated technical service team to support nationwide customers and partners.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to own end-to-end operations across Thailand and Vietnam. You'll be the key player ensuring smooth procurement, logistics, and customs clearance for our fast-growing residential solar business - with support from 3PL partners where needed.
Responsibilities
Lead local procurement and supplier management for Thailand/Vietnam markets
Identify and onboard Thai/Vietnamese suppliers for critical components.
Negotiate terms, issue POs, and maintain supplier relationships.
Manage all import/export operations including customs clearance (working with 3PL partners)
Oversee full-cycle export operations, including order processing, commercial documentation (invoices, packing lists), HS code classification (solar/battery products), and COO applications (e.g., Form D for ASEAN).
Coordinate logistics: Sea/Air Freight bookings, route optimization, shipment tracking, and bonded warehouse management (Thailand focus).
Ensure compliance with Thai BOI, Vietnam’s Decree 69/2018/ND-CP (solar imports), and FTAs (RCEP, ATIGA).
Optimize inventory levels across regional warehouses
Drive cost savings in logistics while maintaining service levels
Liaise with HQ procurement teams on material requisitions and delivery tracking, while analyzing monthly production reports to identify supply chain risks.
Requirement
5+ years in end-to-end supply chain management (preferably in solar, electronics, or related industries)
Proven experience managing cross-border operations between Thailand and Vietnam
Strong knowledge of local customs procedures and trade regulations
Fluent in English and Thai (Vietnamese is a big plus)
Problem-solver who thrives in fast-growth environments
