The Opportunity 

A rare opportunity to join a well knwon Solar IPP based in London. 

The Role

Are you a people person capable of building and managing internal and external relationships?

The Asset Manager has the responsibility of managing renewable assets on behalf of the investor, ensuring that the day to day performance of the asset is in line with the business plan. This means forging close relationships with internal and external stakeholders as you pursue optimising the performance and returns, whilst also looking to identify continual improvements. In coordination with internal teams and through stakeholder management, you will need to monitor and challenge the operational performance and optimisation metrics to achieve the portfolio’s highest possible availability of generation. You will prepare and manage forecasts, budgets, financial and operational variance reports whilst taking ownership of the Profit & Loss of assigned renewable energy assets.

To add to this, you will facilitate collaboration amongst organisational cross-functional teams as conditions necessitate finding resolutions for any operational, financial, commercial or technical issues.

The Person

We are looking for team players with a willingness to learn and support others. You will also need to be University Degree qualified (or equivalent) in either an Engineering, Scientific or Business discipline, with strong experience in asset management of generation assets. If you can demonstrate an understanding of energy markets, policy & regulation and knowledge of renewable generation specific applications and opportunities that would be beneficial.
