This role, based in the vibrant area of Gloucestershire, presents a lucrative six-month contract for a professional seeking to drive progress within the renewable energy landscape.

About the Role:

As a Grid Connection Specialist, your primary focus will be managing the intricate grid connection processes required for our substantial solar and energy storage project. Your expertise in electrical engineering and grid standards will be crucial in ensuring the project aligns with both regulatory requirements and operational expectations. The role demands a dynamic professional who can effectively coordinate between project teams and external entities to facilitate successful grid integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan and execute grid connection schemes ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory norms.

  • Engage with utility providers and regulatory authorities to negotiate and finalize grid connection agreements.

  • Address and resolve challenges related to grid connectivity to avoid potential disruptions.

  • Collaborate with project engineers to incorporate grid connection strategies into the overall project plan.

  • Deliver detailed and timely reports on the status of grid connections and project milestones.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise as a Grid Connection Specialist, particularly in the renewable energy field.
