Grid Connection Manager
Job description
An established international renewable energy developer is expanding its German team and is seeking a Grid Connection Manager to support the connection of large-scale wind, solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) projects to the German grid.

The Role
As Grid Connection Manager, you will play a key role across the full lifecycle of grid connection activities for utility-scale projects, working closely with development, engineering and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing grid connection processes for large onshore wind, PV and BESS projects across Germany
Leading technical and commercial discussions with TSOs and DSOs
Coordinating grid studies, connection applications and technical documentation
Supporting project development teams with grid-related strategy, timelines and risk assessment
Managing external consultants and ensuring compliance with German grid codes and regulations
Contributing to the optimisation of grid connection strategies in constrained networks
Your Profile
Proven experience in grid connection, grid access or grid integration within the German market
Strong understanding of German TSOs/DSOs, grid codes and permitting processes
Background in wind, solar PV, BESS or large-scale energy infrastructure projects
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Fluent German and strong English communication skills
