Site Project Manager
Job description
Oversee manufacturing, assembly, and site follow-up for building structures, including shell, interior installation, HVAC, lighting, and FPS systems. The scope may extend to electrical equipment installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Confirm material orders and delivery schedules.
Track daily/weekly progress, including manpower, labor hours, and completed tasks.
Maintain and update punch lists; follow up on corrective actions.
Lead and participate in project and supplier coordination calls.
Conduct regular site visits to suppliers/sub-suppliers for progress and compliance checks.
Manage and review 2–3 week lookahead schedules, including inspections and hold points.
Ensure certifications of equipment (cranes, welding equipment, etc.).
Enforce site safety and quality standards.
Provide weekly progress reports to the project and procurement teams.
Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to mitigate risks and optimize production.
Qualifications
Engineering degree (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related) or equivalent technical experience.
Experience with metal building installation, prefabricated structures, steel framing, and cladding.
Background in QA/QC, welding, bolting, paneling, and alignment.
Familiarity with welding codes, industry standards, and local regulations.
Proficiency with scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or similar) and survey instruments.
