Senior Project Manager

Job description

An established independent power producer with a strong focus on onshore wind is expanding its project team in Berlin. Active for over five years, the company is backed by two major energy companies in Germany. With a tight-knit team, the business develops, finances, builds and operates its own renewable energy assets across Germany.

The current portfolio includes a pipeline of onshore wind projects with a total capacity of 300+ MW. Projects are at various stages, from early permitting through to construction and operation. One flagship project with 15+ wind turbines is now entering the construction phase, creating the need for an experienced Senior Project Manager.

You will work closely with partners covering grid connection, engineering, turnkey construction and financing, while remaining fully accountable for timelines, budgets and project delivery. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and does not include line management responsibilities.

This position offers significant exposure and breadth, ideal for someone coming from a larger organisation who is looking for wider ownership and decision-making responsibility.

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in onshore wind project management

  • Comfortable managing complex stakeholder environments

  • Structured, hands-on and confident in leading topics independently

  • German language skills at a C1 level are sufficient

Why Join?
  • Work on large-scale wind projects with real impact

  • High level of responsibility and visibility across the full project lifecycle

  • Small, well-functioning team with strong shareholder backing
