​Green Recruitment has partnered with a leading multinational independent power producer with over 5GW+ of operational renewables assets worldwide in their search for a Renewables Procurement Engineer.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Renewable Energy Engineer to join the team and specialize in technical procurement. As a Renewable Energy Engineer with a focus on procurement, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and equipment necessary for the construction and operation of renewable energy projects. You will work closely with project teams to ensure that all procurement activities are performed in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure materials and equipment required for renewable energy projects

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors

• Evaluate and negotiate contracts and purchase orders

• Ensure compliance with project specifications and budgets

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with project schedules

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any procurement-related issues that arise

• Continuously assess the market for new and innovative technologies and materials

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to procurement in the renewable energy sector

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy) or related field

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement with an emphasis on the renewable energy sector or power and utilities

• Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies and materials

• Experience with procurement processes and contracts management

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
