As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the company's financial planning and analysis activities for renewable energy projects. You will be responsible for conducting financial modeling, analyzing investment opportunities, evaluating project economics, and providing financial insights to senior management. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and deep understanding of financial concepts will contribute to the company's success in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate the financial viability of renewable energy projects, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning.

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and due diligence on investment opportunities, assessing risks, returns, and market trends.

  • Prepare financial reports, investment memos, and presentations for senior management, stakeholders, and investors.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project development, engineering, and legal, to ensure financial objectives are aligned with project goals.

  • Monitor and track project performance against financial targets and budgets, providing regular reports and insights to key stakeholders.

  • Evaluate the impact of regulatory and policy changes on project economics and financial feasibility.

  • Support capital raising activities, including preparation of financial documentation, investor presentations, and due diligence processes.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and financial best practices within the renewable energy sector.

  • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A postgraduate degree is desirable.

  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within the renewable energy sector or related industries.

  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.

  • Solid understanding of project finance principles, including cash flow analysis, discounted cash flow (DCF), and internal rate of return (IRR).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear and concise reports.

  • Experience in evaluating renewable energy project economics and assessing financial risks and opportunities.

  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and policies in the renewable energy industry.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
