They focus on supporting companies without intraday market access to commercially optimise their power portfolio's flexibility - providing them with direct market access combined with the most progressive power trading services based on data, self-learning models and cutting-edge technology.
As part of their “growth” team, you will evolve early-stage ideas into strategic growth initiatives. You focus on cutting-edge intraday trading use cases like battery storage, vehicle2grid, virtual power plants, etc. your critical insights will be used for strategic positioning and business model decisions.
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Expert who wants to play a key role in further strengthening this client’s position in Germany.
Drive their expansion strategy for new services, new partners, new regions, and new business models,
Work closely with the leadership team to develop a forward-looking perspective on their services,
Build multi-year business cases including market research, customer needs, market sizing, and long-term business projections,
Take responsibility for existing and potential partners,
Are passionate about the future of the energy market,
Have 2+ years background in business development, origination, or management consulting in the energy industry,
Are experienced with the EFET master trade agreements,
Have a very good understanding of ancillary services,
Easily engage independently across the organization,
Show analytical, presentation, and communication skills,
Are fluent in German and English,
Enjoy solving complex problems independently as well as in a team
