A globally recognized Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) OEM is seeking a Senior Analyst to strengthen its supply chain operations and strategic decision-making. This is a pivotal role for a data-driven, analytical professional who understands the complexities of global supply chains and the fast-evolving world of utility-scale energy storage.

Based in Shanghai, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of procurement, market intelligence, and operational strategy, ensuring the seamless flow of materials and components that power large-scale renewable energy projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Analysis & Market Intelligence

• Analyze global supply chain trends, market dynamics, and geopolitical risks to inform sourcing strategies.

• Develop data models and dashboards to track key supply chain KPIs, cost structures, and supplier performance.

• Monitor commodity prices, raw material availability, and logistics factors to optimize procurement planning.

Operational Support & Cost Optimization

• Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance supply resilience.

• Conduct supplier benchmarking and competitive analysis to support decision-making on vendor selection.

• Provide analytical insights on inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and strategy teams to align supply chain operations with business objectives.

• Support leadership with data-backed recommendations for sourcing, risk mitigation, and operational improvements.

• Assist in sustainability and ESG compliance reporting within the supply chain framework.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, procurement strategy, or operations within the energy storage, renewables, or power sector.

• Strong knowledge of global supply chains, trade regulations, and procurement processes for utility-scale BESS projects.

• Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, SQL, or other data visualization and analytics tools.

• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English to communicate effectively with global stakeholders.

• A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
