​The Green Recruitment Company is supporting a leading energy platform in the recruitment of a Senior Project Manager to lead the construction and execution of large-scale stand-alone BESS projects across Spain.

This is a key leadership role, acting as asset owner representative, with full end-to-end responsibility for construction delivery, EPC management and site execution.

Key responsibilities:

• End-to-end leadership of stand-alone BESS construction projects

• Senior interface with EPC contractors, suppliers, grid operators and authorities

• Oversight of civil works, MV/HV electrical installation, power electronics and commissioning

• Ownership of HSE, planning, cost control, contracts, QA/QC and risk management

• Resolution of critical site and execution issues

• Reporting and decision support to senior management.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in infrastructure or energy construction projects

• 7+ years as Project Manager in renewables, grid or industrial projects

• Strong exposure to BESS, HV substations, grid connections or EPC frameworks

• Engineering degree (Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or similar)

• Solid contract management experience (EPC / FIDIC)

• Fluent English

• Based in Madrid preferred, with frequent site visits across Spain.
