​TGRC has partnered with a leading industry provider of energy market forecasts, analysis, and consultancy, backed by a successful commercial team. Currently, they are hiring a SaaS Sales Associate for their Key Accounts team to promote sustainable products and services.

The ideal candidate will be pivotal in client interactions and business development, focusing on creating software sales opportunities for managed accounts across our product range. They should bring a strong commercial mindset, knowledge of software sales, excellent communication and relationship management skills, a passion for new business development, eagerness to learn, and an interest in energy markets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and nurture software sales opportunities through product knowledge and consumer insights.

  • Target the Australian market primarily, with planned expansion to Japan, the Philippines, and Korea.

  • Furthermore, cultivating leads to building an active, recurring customer base.

  • Enhance account value through strategic cross-selling and up-selling efforts.

  • In addition, deliver comprehensive pitches and proposals, negotiating structured offers.

  • Utilize Salesforce CRM for consistent processes, ensuring outstanding customer experience and high engagement.

  • Possesses a robust commercial mindset, demonstrating an intuitive ability to identify opportunities leading to success.

  • Excels in effective communication and collaboration with individuals of both technical and non-technical backgrounds, adept at extracting valuable client information through insightful questioning.

  • Maintains a proactive can-do attitude and willingly engages in diverse commercial activities, including the enhancement of internal systems and processes.

  • Displays outstanding written and verbal communication, complemented by strong interpersonal skills.

  • Flourishes in team-oriented environments while also possessing the capability to work independently when required.

  • Moreover, displays enthusiasm and curiosity for the energy transition.

  • Exhibits creativity in problem-solving, showcasing the capacity to devise new approaches within their authority.

Desirable attributes:

  • Highly valued: Possesses experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management—particularly favourable if experienced in energy-related subscription sales or general SaaS sales.

  • Beneficial to have experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.

  • Lastly, advantageous if there is prior professional exposure to energy economics, power markets, and power networks.
