As such, they are currently seeking highly skilled & motivated Renewable Energy Consultants, with a Chemical/Mechanical Engineering background, to join their dedicated team in advancing renewable gas as a core component of a net-zero carbon future. The role involves developing, designing, and optimising hydrogen/bioenergy production, storage, distribution, and end-use systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pioneer's cutting-edge mechanical solutions to optimise the efficiency and performance of energy conversion systems, including thermal power plants, renewable energy facilities, and waste-to-energy projects.

  • Conduct comprehensive process simulations & modelling to assess the efficiency, feasibility, & safety of various renewable gas system components.

  • Design and conduct experiments to validate process performance, troubleshoot operational challenges and refine process parameters.

  • Leverage your deep understanding of gasification, pyrolysis, combustion, and other advanced energy conversion technologies to drive innovative solutions, optimise processes, and unlock sustainable energy opportunities.

Your Profile:

  • Strong educational background in engineering, ideally with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Process, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field.

  • In-depth understanding of a specific area within renewable gas as an energy carrier, such as hydrogen mobility, syngas production & utilisation, or Carbon Capture & Storage.

  • Expertise in process simulation and design software, including Aspen Plus, HYSYS, and AutoCAD, along with proficiency in other relevant engineering software programs.

  • Possess a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental best practices specific to hydrogen systems.
