Job title: Senior Wind Energy Analyst

Location: Manchester Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

TGRC is seeking a Senior Wind Energy Analyst, to lead the analysis of wind and operational data to forecast energy output for wind farm projects worldwide. Working with a wide variety of clients such as developers, lenders, investors, and project stakeholders, you'll ensure technical excellence throughout project lifecycles. Your role encompasses technical analysis, complex assignments, business development support, and team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret wind data accurately.

  • Utilize wind flow models like WAsP, Meteodyn, and Ansys Windmodeller for modelling wind flow.

  • Assess energy yield and technical losses.

  • Ensure quality assurance of the team's analysis work.

  • Mentor and support junior team members.

  • Conduct technical due diligence on third-party reports.

  • Communicate technical details effectively to non-technical audiences through technical reports.

  • Manage projects and budgets efficiently.

  • Foster client relationships and manage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Prepare technical and commercial tenders as needed.

  • Stay informed about market trends and technological innovations in wind energy.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., engineering, physics, mathematics, meteorology).

  • Extensive experience in engineering consultancy or developer roles.

  • Strong background in analysis and energy yield assessment.

  • Prior involvement in renewable energy project development.

  • Proficiency in project management and stakeholder management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to synthesize complex information for decision-making.

  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
