​Renewable Energy CAD/GIS Technician

Location: Mayfair, London

Salary: £32,000 + benefits

TGRC is working with a leading renewable energy developer and asset management business head quartered in London and focused on the UK market.

This role will be an exciting opportunity for a Renewable Energy CAD/GIS Technician to join the company’s team on a full-time, permanent basis in London, to support the company’s work in developing and delivering onshore wind developments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce designs, plans and supporting technical information in relation to securing agreements with Landowners, securing Planning Consent and the connection of assets to the UK’s electrical grid infrastructure.

• Support information gathering on potential onshore wind sites.

• Prepare and produce designs, plans and supporting technical information in relation to the technical appraisals of potential onshore wind sites in liaison with other members of the team.

Requirements:

• Familiar with Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Geographic Information System (GIS) software.

• 2 years of experience, including experience of working in the renewable environment is preferred.

• Degree educated with a suitable technical degree.

• Full UK driving license is not essential but desirable since the opportunity may exist to visit sites across the UK.
